Still Wondering About Something?
GoodTalk guides come from different backgrounds—mental health first aiders, life coaches, licensed mental health professionals, peer specialists, and trained conversationalists. All are vetted and trained in quality conversation. They combine professional expertise with personal experience, creating space for honest conversations that help you move forward.
If you need someone to talk to who actually gets it—whether you're working through a breakup, navigating workplace drama, questioning your next move, or just need to process out loud—GoodTalk is for you. We're here for the moments when your friends are tired of hearing about it (or you're tired of talking to them) and therapy feels like too much.
$1.49 per minute. No subscriptions, no surprise fees, no “introductory rates” that triple next month. Just straight-up, pay-as-you-go conversation.
Here’s a breakdown:
15 min $22.35
20 min $29.89
30 min $44.70
45 min $67.05
60 min $89.40
GoodTalk isn’t designed for crisis support. A crisis is when you’re in immediate danger, having thoughts of hurting yourself or someone else, or experiencing a mental health emergency that needs urgent care right now. If you’re in crisis, please reach out to 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) by call or text, or go to your nearest emergency room. They have the resources and training to help you through this moment. GoodTalk is here for emotional support and working through life’s challenges—we want to make sure you get the right kind of help when you need it most.
It Depends. What you share stays between you and your guide. Unless we identify a crisis, then we have to report it. Also, our calls are recorded for quality assurance; you can request that this be turned off.
Therapy is clinical treatment with a licensed professional who diagnoses and treats mental health conditions. GoodTalk is peer support—trained guides with lived experience who create space for honest conversation. Think of us as the bridge between venting to your bestie and sitting on a therapist’s couch.
Because representation matters, and GoodTalk is built on shared experience. I'm a Black woman who created this with support from my community of Black women. We believe relatability heals—and as a pilot, we're starting with the community closest to me. This isn't about Black women being the only ones who struggle. It's about staying true to what makes GoodTalk work: connecting people who've walked similar paths. We're proving the model first, then expanding so everyone can find someone who truly gets their story.
This pilot will run from 11.11.2025 to 12.31.2026.
